Our Story
The Marigold Market is a flower farm in Lac La Biche, Alberta, started in early 2026 by lifelong friends Ashley Miller and Holly Pawliw. The farm itself may be in it’s sprouting stages, however, the idea behind it has been growing for most of their lives. Since Ashley and Holly were six, they have dreamt about starting a farm together. Over the years, the details changed, but the heart of the idea never did.
When Ashley and her husband Scott purchased land just outside of Lac La Biche, that long-held dream finally had somewhere to land. Soon after, Holly moved to Lac La Biche to join Ashley in shaping what would soon become The Marigold Market.
While many ideas bounced around, flowers felt like a natural fit. They were drawn to flowers not just for how they look, but for how they make people feel. Flowers bring warmth and joy to those around them; they have a quiet way of softening tough moments and making good ones feel brighter.
At its roots, The Marigold Market is about friendship, community, and flowers grown with care.
