Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most of our flowers and plants are grown from seed by us right here in Lac La Biche. Occasionally, we may bring in a small number of thoughtfully selected items that align with our values and products, especially early in the season when our cut flowers are not yet ready. All plants are sourced from Canada.

  • We currently grow from our home and do not have a public greenhouse location at this time. We hope to expand into a dedicated farm space as the Marigold Market continues to grow, so stay tuned for future announcements!

  • We do offer local delivery within the Lac La Biche hamlet. Please see our Local Delivery page for more details.

  • Sustainability is one of our core values. We grow with care for the land, local ecosystems, and the people who enjoy our flowers. You can learn more about our growing practices on our How We Farm page.

  • We start our plants indoors and transplant them outside as soon as the weather allows. Our main growing period runs through the warmer months, with availability depending on weather and growing conditions each year.

  • We share our farm with cats, so pet safety is important to us. While not all flowers are safe for pets, we clearly mark pet-friendly options whenever possible and are always happy to answer questions before purchase.

  • We are thoughtful and intentional about what we use on our farm. We prioritize practices and products that are safer for the soil, pollinators, and people, and we avoid unnecessary chemicals whenever possible.

  • If you don’t see your question here, feel free to get in touch. We’re always happy to talk about flowers and how we grow them.
