A Mother’s Day Market Weekend

This past weekend marked another big milestone for us at the Marigold Market: our first double market weekend!

We want to start by wishing a very happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, caregivers, nurturing figures and fellow fur-mother’s in our community. We saw so many people picking out thoughtful gifts of flowers for the people they love, and it made the whole weekend feel really meaningful.

We also want to say a huge thank you to the Bonnyville Farmer’s Market for welcoming us so warmly to their Garden Hub roster. Leaving our home market for the first time felt a little intimidating, but the kindness and support we’ve received has meant a lot to us.

This first season has already been full of learning experiences, long days of bed prep, unpredictable weather and an abnormal amount of snow, and moments where we’ve questioned if we are keeping up, but weekends like this remind us exactly why we started.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by our tables, shared gardening stories with us, supported our little farm, or simply took the time to say hello.

Little by little, things are growing!
